My artistic practice explores the relationship between contemporary painting, cultural heritage, symbolism and personal experience. I work with traditional visual elements, ornament and references to different cultural traditions, transforming them into a contemporary artistic language.

My works are created as individual paintings as well as parts of larger series, where recurring motifs and symbols develop through different compositions and meanings
