Watercolor Masterclass Inspired by Alphonse Mucha

Explore the world of Alphonse Mucha through art history and watercolor.

This creative masterclass combines a short introduction to Mucha's artistic language and the Art Nouveau movement with practical watercolor work inspired by his elegant compositions, ornamental forms, flowing lines and distinctive colour palettes.

During the masterclass, we will

• discover the work and artistic style of Alphonse Mucha
• explore the visual language of Art Nouveau
• look at composition, decorative elements and colour
• experiment with watercolor materials and techniques
• develop an initial sketch
• create our own artwork inspired by Mucha's aesthetic

The goal is not to copy Mucha's work, but to understand his artistic language and use it as inspiration for creating something personal.
