I believe that life can be fascinating, rich, and full of color — it is what we make of it. This belief lies at the heart of my artistic philosophy.
I was born in Odesa, Ukraine, in 1977, into a Greek-Russian family. My artistic education began at an art school and continued at the University of the Arts in Poznań (UAP), Poland.
My paintings explore the emotional world of interiors - colorful, warm, and intimate spaces that invite us to stay and to return. Through interiors, still lifes, and the presence of animals, I create images of places that feel familiar yet exist somewhere between memory and imagination.
I am drawn to retro elements, expressive color, and the character of lived-in spaces. In my paintings, interiors become more than physical environments: they hold emotions, memories, and a sense of belonging. I am interested in the quiet poetry of everyday surroundings and in the way objects, colors, and light can evoke the feeling of being at home.
Perhaps this longing for warmth and familiarity is connected to my experience of living away from my homeland. It brings me back to childhood memories and to the feeling of home as a place of safety, affection, and unconditional acceptance.
Through painting, I create intimate worlds that offer a sense of refuge - places where time seems to slow down, where life feels warmer, and where there is always a reason to return.
My works are held in private collections in the United States, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Poland.
Our life can be colorful and beautiful, the way we create it.
This philosophy is at the heart of my art.
